After World War I, Salem needed a community center, a place where adults and youth could participate in social, athletic and recreational activities both as individuals and in groups, clubs and organizations. This was when the Memorial Building was built. Over the years we have partnered with a broad range of individuals and organizations to enhance the lives of our residents
